About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Community Nurse to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children's Community Nursing Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with acute and long-term conditions.

The successful candidate will have extensive clinical knowledge and skills in caring for children and young people with a variety of needs, and will be able to practice autonomously and use their clinical decision-making skills. Experience of working within the community setting is desirable, but not essential.

You will be working within an established and experienced team, and will be involved in the provision of and support the delivery of skilled paediatric care to children and young people. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the team and the service, and to participate in audit and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to children and young people with acute and long-term conditions
  • Work autonomously and use clinical decision-making skills to make informed decisions
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the service

Person Specification
  • NMC Registered Nurse (Children)
  • Relevant experience at Band 5 in an acute setting

  • Demonstrates knowledge of audit/research recommendations
