Senior Support Worker

As a Direct Payment Support Worker at Peabody, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, effective personal care and housing-related support to customers living within a service.
You will need to be passionate about making a real difference to people's lives, supporting them to be as independent, safe, healthy, and happy as possible.
You will work collaboratively with other teams, building effective relationships with colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding, welfare, and risk concerns.
Your typical day may involve providing personal care to customers, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting social activities to enhance their quality of life.
You will also be required to have an understanding and ability to respond to people's unique needs and desires, as well as being knowledgeable of housing support needs and benefits.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work 37.5 hours a week, have empathy and respect for the individual characteristics and needs of a diverse range of customers, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
