About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Specialist ASD Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education. As a Specialist ASD Support Worker, you will be working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with ASD and other SEN in a designated unit
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students to help them manage their behavior and develop social skills
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with ASD and other SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
