Job Title: Peer Support Assistant

King's College London Students' Union is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Wellbeing Team as a Peer Support Assistant. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to make a positive impact on the King's community while developing valuable skills and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of the KCLSU Buddy Scheme and Centralised Peer Mentoring Structure.
  • Oversee the KCLSU Wellbeing social media and newsletters, creating engaging content and responding to queries.
  • Promote KCLSU Wellbeing initiatives through relevant webpages, social media, and newsletters.
  • Monitor department inboxes and respond to enquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Contribute to evaluating and improving our service, analysing data and writing reports.
  • Represent KCLSU Wellbeing at events, engaging with students and promoting our service.
  • Build strong working relationships with other teams within KCLSU and King's.

Requirements:

  • Be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student of King's College London.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of this when requested.
  • Have a National Insurance number or be in the process of applying for one.
  • Not be a trustee of King's College London Students' Union.
