Job Title: Peer Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Peer Support Assistant. This role will provide administrative support to the Peer Support Coordinator and oversee the KCLSU Wellbeing Instagram account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the work of KCLSU Wellbeing, including communicating with student and staff stakeholders, arranging meetings and events, and creating surveys.
  • Oversee the KCLSU Wellbeing social media and newsletters, including creating engaging content and responding to queries via these platforms.
  • Promote KCLSU Wellbeing initiatives via the relevant KCLSU and King's webpages, social media, and newsletters.
  • Monitor the relevant department inboxes and respond to enquiries in a polite, timely, and professional manner or forward to relevant staff members.
  • Contribute to work to evaluate and improve our service, including analyzing data and writing reports.
  • Occasionally represent KCLSU Wellbeing at events, engaging with students and promoting our service.
  • Build strong working relationships with other teams within KCLSU and King's to allow for effective collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student of King's College London.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of this when asked by KCLSU.
  • Have a National Insurance number or be in the process of applying for one.
  • Not be a trustee of King's College London Students' Union.
