About the Role
  • The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef with effective kitchen management, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Produce a high standard of food from scratch for all menus, maintaining consistency and quality throughout.
  • Manage a section in the kitchen, cooking from fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety standards.
  • Eliminate wasteful or unprofitable practices, optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Control the order and storage of food supplies, minimizing waste and maximizing value.
  • Support the delivery of financial targets, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Senior Sous Chef, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
