About the Role

As an Insurance Claims Adjuster with Allied Westminster (Insurance Services) Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of claims. We are proud to be the UK's largest provider of Village Hall insurance, serving thousands of clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Communicating with customers via phone, email, and post to provide clear information and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to claims handling, including dealing with general queries related to renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Collaborating with insurers, RICS surveyors, and loss adjustors to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
  • Providing accurate and efficient responses to product queries from clients.
  • Working collaboratively within a team to deliver excellent customer support and achieve shared goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Essential experience in property-related insurance, preferably in underwriting, policy administration, or claims handling.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Previous office-based, customer-focused experience is essential, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in navigating IT systems for administrative tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and building trust with clients.
What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
