Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operative to support the Navy's Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) systems. The successful candidate will maintain, operate, and provide test support for these complex systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate UUVs and their associated support equipment.
  • Perform routine and advanced corrective maintenance actions in support of research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) engineering changes.
  • Assist with mission planning and post-mission analysis.
  • Support the Test Director in performing in-water tests of systems and equipment.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience performing routine and advanced corrective maintenance on UUVs or USVs and their associated support equipment.
  • Experience installing and testing engineering changes on UUVs or USVs and their associated support equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems on UUVs or USVs.
  • HS diploma or GED required.
