This exciting opportunity is available within the Lichfield & Tamworth Mental Health Support Teams, part of the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As an Education Mental Health Practitioner/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work closely with schools, providing mental health support to children and young people.

Main Duties:

  • Assess and deliver outcome-focused interventions in educational settings.
  • Work in partnership with children, young people, families, and educators to develop plans for intervention and agreed outcomes.
  • Empower children, young people, and their families to make informed choices about interventions.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties.
  • Experience of delivering specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people, or their families.
  • Able to conduct mental health assessments of children and young people.
