Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we're committed to creating a safer, more sustainable, and connected world. As a Tool Maker, you'll be part of our Tooling Teams, responsible for manufacturing functions related to metal working dies and tool making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manufacture new tools, repair, and renovate old tools.
  • Plan jobs through various stages of manufacture, deciding on the correct machinery and processes to achieve stated accuracy and quality.
  • Operate machines and carry out activities in a safe and responsible manner, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Achieve tasks within set timeframes to meet departmental targets.
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by the Tooling Manager or Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure all tooling-related activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • Observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
Requirements
  • Good general education with numeracy and perception essential.
  • Must be capable of manual grinding, turning, milling.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings.
