We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at The Bungalow. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with varying needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders, respecting confidentiality.
- Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and social events.
- Record accurate notes and maintain up-to-date records as required.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide exceptional care and support.
Requirements
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience in a care setting, although not essential.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
- Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
