Job Title: Female Support Worker - Care and Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting Female Support Workers who are able and willing to drive in the UK to complement our existing teams providing support to adults with a variety of different diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Comprehensive assessment and person-centred support planning – including assistance in identifying needs and aspirations, and support in formulating a plan to turn those aspirations into achievable goals.
* Household tasks: including cooking and meal planning, housework, shopping, laundry and budgeting.
* Social care tasks: including support with benefit payments and money, training in the use of public transport, development of social and recreational activities, and the development of friendships and other supportive relationships.
* Educational/vocational development: including support in adult education classes and supported employment placements.
* Positive behaviour development: including the development of more positive behaviours and the corresponding reduction of self-harmful or socially inappropriate behaviours which interfere with satisfactory relationships and achievement of personal goals.
* Medications management: including supervision of self-administration of medications including those prescribed for mental health problems, and monitoring of beneficial and negative side-effects.
