About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at The Bungalow. As a Manual Car Driver and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional care to individuals with varying needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality
  • Support service users with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and social events
  • Record accurate notes and maintain up-to-date records as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience in a care setting (not essential)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding
