We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional to join our team as a Kairuruku Hinengaro - Māori Practitioner in our Mental Health teams across various locations nationwide. This role is ideal for a Kairuruku who demonstrates a firm dedication to mentoring culturally safe practices and fostering partnerships and relationships.

About the Team

Key Responsibilities
  1. Experience and proficiency in te reo me ona tikanga and mātauranga Māori, understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to the role, the work, including the impact of colonisation on health.
  2. Knowledge/experience of working in mental health or health services.
  3. Knowledge/experience of the Mental Health Act, the National Mental Health Sector Standards.

The estimated salary for this role is around $NZ 100,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
