Join Our Team as a Conference and Events Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Conference and Events Assistant at Delta by Marriott Nottingham Belfry. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conference and events spaces, providing exceptional service to our guests, and working closely with our Food and Beverage Manager to deliver outstanding events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the planning and execution of conferences, events, and weddings
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Work closely with the events team to coordinate logistics, catering, and audiovisual requirements
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the conference and events spaces
  • Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or events role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of wines and spirits
