About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Conference Coordinator at Delta by Marriott Nottingham Belfry hotel.

As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conference and events areas, including the restaurant, bar, and private dining spaces.

You will work closely with our Food and Beverage Manager to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of conferences, events, and banquets
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained and guest expectations are exceeded
  • Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest queries and concerns
  • Assist with training and development of team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, preferably in a conference and events role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Up-to-date knowledge of wines and spirits
