Job Summary

Rentokil Initial plc is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dudley. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and record Purchase Invoices
  • Resolve internal and external queries
  • Provide support to accounts assistants
  • Administer supplier queries
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Escalate invoice authorisations as needed
  • Contribute to the preparation of management accounts by assisting with monthly accruals
  • Process payments (BACS, CHAPS, Cheques, Direct Debits)
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and general ledger maintenance
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results under pressure
  • Confidentiality when handling financial and employee information
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Understanding of audit controls and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and adaptability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
