Customer Service and Administration Assistant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Administration Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in customer service and administration, working within the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative and customer service duties to colleagues, patients, and visitors. This will include working in a reception area, booking appointments, supporting a team with administration tasks, and performing secretarial responsibilities.
You will also be required to work across two sites, including the Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, and may be based at an outlying clinic in the community.
Job DescriptionThis is a level 3 apprenticeship opportunity, which requires applicants to have relevant experience demonstrating good English, Maths, and communication skills. The role involves working closely with a training provider to complete a high-quality training programme.
Candidates must possess GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics grade 3-9 (A*-D, or equivalent) to be eligible for the Level 3 apprenticeship. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate relevant experience using computer systems, familiarising themselves with Microsoft Office packages, and possessing basic keyboard skills.
The ideal candidate will be willing to complete the apprenticeship training and attend CHFT in-house training. We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and knowledge.
