Public Involvement Coordinator Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Public Involvement Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a vital role in recruiting and supporting members of the public, service users, and caregivers to contribute to research in Wales.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative support for public involvement and engagement activities, including event planning and community outreach.
  • Support engagement with diverse under-served communities through regular contact and collaboration with third sector organisations.
  • Identify and plan community events that promote public involvement across Wales, while attending relevant networks and conferences.
  • Maintain open communication channels with patients, carers, service users, and the public to enhance public engagement and involvement initiatives.
  • Support coordination of public involvement activities in health and social care research in Wales, ensuring effective data management and administration.
  • Provide essential information to researchers considering public active involvement in research studies, and design a comprehensive training programme on public involvement for community members and researchers.

The salary range for this position is £30,420 - £37,030 per annum, with a full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week.
