Public Area Cleaner Role Overview

This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas within the hotel, including but not limited to lobby areas, fitness centers, corridors, and stairwells. As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-maintained at all times. This may involve vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and performing other cleanliness-related tasks as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all public areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Perform vacuuming, dusting, and mopping tasks as required
  • Restock and replenish towels and guest amenities
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
