Building Surveyor

Our client is a rapidly expanding multidisciplinary consultancy seeking a Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team at their Reading office. This opportunity has arisen due to ongoing growth and a robust pipeline of upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.
• Inspections to involve acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys, and defect investigations.
• Design and oversee works using recognized building contracts and current technical standards.
• Understand and apply other relevant legislation such as health and safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning.
• Help promote the company's services and secure projects.
Requirements:
• BSc or MSc Building surveying degree.
• 2-3 years minimum of experience in Building Surveying.
• Experience and working knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning practices and procedures supported by an awareness of the latest statutory requirements and technical publications.
