About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and driven Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of residential and commercial property.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on building design, construction, and maintenance
- Carry out building and measured surveys to ensure compliance with building regulations and technical standards
- Take particulars on site, write specifications, obtain estimates, plan maintenance programmes, and administer contracts for maintenance work
- Analyse and report on building defects, handle claims and negotiations with loss adjusters, and prepare drawings and specifications for remedial work
- Provide advice on planning applications, appeals, boundary disputes, government grants, and conduct arbitrations as an expert witness
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree
- Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience
