About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of the business, including guiding and developing our team of Sales Assistants and volunteers. You will also be responsible for ensuring customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and develop a team of volunteers and staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory and supplies
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager, and experience in a customer-facing role. You will also need to be able to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's.
