About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse to join our team in Trowbridge, working in a busy prescribing service under the supervision of our Clinical Services Manager. As a community-based healthcare professional, you will be involved in opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health and wellbeing assessments to individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, providing robust governance and supporting team learning and development
  • Deliver targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, and blood borne virus testing
  • Work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to provide comprehensive support
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse with excellent communication skills, the ability to develop support packages tailored to individual needs, and a deep level of empathy and understanding.
