As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a talented Senior Consultant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of forensic investigations related to power systems plant, including condition assessments and failure analysis of LV, MV, and HV cable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct condition assessments of paper and polymeric cable systems
  2. Lead failure investigations, including condition assessments of cable joints, termination, and sealing ends

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to projects, working closely with our technical engineering team to deliver high-quality results. You will also provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the team and contribute to continuous improvements in our facilities and services.

Requirements:
  1. Working towards or have achieved professional registration status in a relevant institution
  2. Experience working in a cable OEM, electrical utility organization, consultancy, or power plant service provider
  3. Comprehensive technical understanding of power systems plant and their operation
  4. Understanding of electrical field distributions in power plant and methods used to control electrical field distributions
  5. Ability to separate observations following failure from the root cause
