About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Psychologist to join our Chichester Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist psychological therapy services to adults with severe and complex mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior psychologists and other team members.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based psychological therapy interventions for complex mental health difficulties.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of service policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to service users.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Recognised postgraduate level training in a psychological therapy.
  • Substantial experience of specialist psychological therapy, including assessment, formulation, and treatment.
  • Proven track record of delivering positive outcomes in psychological therapy.
  • Experience of teaching, training, and supervision within a demanding organisational context.
  • Knowledge of guidance and legislation related to mental health services.
