Senior Practitioner Psychologist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner Psychologist or Specialist Psychological Therapist to join our Chichester Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS). As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, specialist psychological therapy services to individuals, carers, and families, addressing complex mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide evidence-based psychological therapy services, incorporating assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- To hold a clinical caseload, prioritizing and managing workload, and exercising autonomy in decision-making.
- To supervise and mentor junior psychology staff, offering guidance and support in clinical practice.
- To contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of team operational policies and services.
- To engage in research, service evaluation, and audit, disseminating findings through internal and national forums.

Requirements
- Recognized postgraduate-level training in a psychological therapy, as specified in the appendix.
- Professional registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
- Substantial post-qualification experience in specialist psychological therapy, maintaining high professionalism in emotionally challenging situations.
- Proven track record of delivering positive outcomes in evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Experience in teaching, training, and supervision within a demanding organizational context.
