Job Title: Trade Surveillance Expert

Core Consultants is seeking a Trade Surveillance Expert to join our team. As a pioneer in AI consulting and engineering, we deliver measurable outcomes to clients through our unique approach.

Our distinct value proposition is centered on building operational self-reliance, creating a new benchmark for how consulting services are sourced and delivered. We urgently need several Trade Surveillance Specialists with working knowledge of conducting Surveillance Alert Reviews and either FICC or FX experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Audit and Calibration: Review and analyse trade alerts across multiple asset classes, including Fixed Income, FX, Futures, Options, and Interest Rate Swaps.
  • Surveillance System Configuration: Ensure surveillance systems are correctly configured to comply with the latest regulatory requirements and market developments.
  • Expert Advice and Support: Provide expert advice and support to clients and stakeholders, including Front Office, compliance teams, and senior management.
  • Investigations and Reporting: Conduct detailed investigations into suspicious activities, preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a trading or trade surveillance role within a financial institution.
  • Deep knowledge of multiple asset classes, including Fixed Income, FX, Futures, Options, and Interest Rate Swaps.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market activities.
  • Experience with surveillance technologies and systems such as Actimize, SMARTS, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
