About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Services Officer to join our team at Acis Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our student accommodation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and systems to ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety policies.
  • Analyse data to inform recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise with contractors to coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Use our finance system to manage orders and payments.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of buildings and grounds, identifying and reporting any issues or hazards.
  • Work closely with the site team to ensure the site is well-maintained, secure, and welcoming.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Site Services Manager in coordinating summer works programs and ensuring sites are ready for turnarounds and move-in dates.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety, building safety, and safety rules.
  • Safe working systems and practices.
  • Good working knowledge of DIY and maintenance skills, including plumbing, decorating, plastering, and joinery.
  • Excellent customer service and administration skills.
  • IT proficiency and ability to accurately use IT platforms and systems.
  • Ability to coordinate and monitor contractors.
