Job Title: Emergency Logistics Operations Manager

Salary and Benefits:

$80,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. A competitive salary package including 33 days annual leave (pro rata), plus a range of employee benefits and rewards.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of water services to our customers across Wales during times of crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the emergency response efforts during critical situations, ensuring that customers receive uninterrupted water services.
  • Work closely with the Operational field teams and Water Logistics team to ensure seamless service to customers 24/7, with no avoidable failures in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to mitigate the impact of disruptions to our services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to minimize the impact on customers and return to normal service as soon and as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure procedures and activities undertaken comply with all Health and Safety legislation and DCWW Health & Safety policies in maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Class C & E driving licence (HGV Class 1).
  • An understanding of Health and Safety Procedures related to Water Network and the equipment used within the Emergency Logistics.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with Supervisors and Field Teams.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and drive delivery of Emergency Logistics in operations.
  • Ability to travel as job requires.
