Weighbridge Operator

You will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge facility and to act as point of contact for customers, employees, visitors and contractors. You will be required to direct traffic coming onto site.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Check incoming loads, ensuring compliance with environmental permit conditions at all times
- Reject any non-conforming waste types
- Accurately record weights and waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures etc.
- Process waste transfer/consignment notes accurately and efficiently (including checks on EWC and SIC codes to ensure they are correct and match the actual waste type)
- Ensure that the weighbridge is within calibration and all times and functioning correctly.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Deal with customer queries in a professional manner at all times
- Site Health & Safety inductions
- Traffic Management
- Order materials as and when required
- Maintain fuel stocks
- Site Diary Management
- General office duties
- Hours of Work: 08:00 am to 17:00 pm Monday - Friday.

- Administration skills
- Excellent customer service skills

Desirable
- Bilingual (Welsh and English)
- Previous health, safety, environmental experience
- Health, safety, environmental qualifications
