Job Summary: Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN LSA) required to support children aged 4-17 with severe learning difficulties in a Surrey-based school.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning experiences
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Utilise practical strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Promote positive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a caring and compassionate approach towards students
  • Work effectively in 1:1 and group settings with students
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Engage in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or equivalent (where necessary)
