Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Job Summary: Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN LSA) required to support children aged 4-17 with severe learning difficulties in a Surrey-based school.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning experiences
- Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Utilise practical strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Promote positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a caring and compassionate approach towards students
- Work effectively in 1:1 and group settings with students
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
- Engage in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS certificate or equivalent (where necessary)
