Special Needs Education Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to join our team as an Autism Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and specialist staff to support students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and associated challenging behaviours.
">Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
">- Providing consistency and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life
- Working alongside teachers and specialist staff to support students with learning difficulties
- Building robust and effective relationships with students
- Remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
This role offers a competitive salary of £85-£110 per day, term time only, as well as excellent on-site training, support and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students. Our school provides a supportive environment that enables students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
