Clinical Lead for Paediatric SLT Services

As a Clinical Lead for Paediatric SLT Services at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of our paediatric services. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced speech and language therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with children with complex communication needs, including those with Sensorineural Hearing Loss. They will also have strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple agencies.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist advice and guidance to other healthcare professionals and parents/carers.
- Develop and deliver specialist training to other healthcare professionals and parents/carers.
- Contribute to the development of local policies and care pathways.
- Manage a complex caseload of children with complex communication needs, including those with Sensorineural Hearing Loss.
We are looking for a speech and language therapist with:
- A recognised degree qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Significant experience working with children with complex communication needs.
