Job Overview

IMC Locums is committed to providing high-quality SEN SLT services to support children with special educational needs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist to lead our SEN SLT team and ensure that our services meet the highest standards.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee therapy provision for students with SEN, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with school staff, families, and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Manage and develop the SEN SLT team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all therapy work is compliant with relevant statutory requirements and best practices in SEN provision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with children with SEN, preferably within a school or similar educational setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in speech and language therapy, particularly in SEN.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to balance clinical work with leadership duties.
