IT Operations Manager

As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently for our large user base. You will work closely with our outsourced IT provider and other business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance our enterprise IT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the IT operations, including physical infrastructure, cloud environments (Azure AD and 365) and enterprise applications (MS Suite, G-workspace, Monday, Workable, etc)
  • Drive best practices amongst the user base of our platforms to make their day-to-day roles more effective across our offices and remote locations
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of our IT systems
  • Monitor and analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and coordinate system upgrades and maintenance activities
  • Manage incidents and work closely with the team to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to IT operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT operations management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT operations management or a similar role
  • Strong technical background with a user-centric focus
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Macs, Adobe Creative Suite, or working in a marketing agency would be considered advantageous
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is desirable
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
