Job Description

Old Fletton Surgery is seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join its established Nursing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver vaccinations and health advice to patients
  • Conduct childhood immunisations and venepuncture procedures
  • Perform new patient registration checks and NHS health checks
  • Provide support and assistance with clinics, including diabetic, hypertension, asthma, CHD, and COPD
  • Maintain health promotion literature and information for patients
  • Manage medical supplies stock and maintain treatment room equipment
  • Use the practice clinical system for patient searches and recall
Requirements
  • Registration with the NMC is essential
  • Ability to work safely and in accordance with legislative requirements and practice policies
  • Confidentiality and data protection skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
