Job Summary

Bretton Park Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and emergency care to patients, including wound care, venepuncture, and ECGs.
  • Assist in the management of chronic diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes.
  • Conduct health promotion and education activities to support patients in maintaining healthy lifestyles.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council) qualification.
  • Experience in a primary care environment, preferably in a practice nurse or community nurse role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, including extended hours and on-call shifts.
