Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students in core subjects, including Maths and English, up to GCSE level.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized learning programs to students in their homes
- Work with students of varying ages and abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to understand student needs and goals
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet individual student needs
- Provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
- Experience working with primary or secondary aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
