Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Bolton. This is a temporary position, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.43.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with the planning and delivery of individual learning activities, supporting children with special educational needs and SEMH. A strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN and SEMH.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH.
