Learning Support Teacher for SEN Pupils

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a Special Educational Needs Teaching Support Professional to join our team in Redbridge. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Support Professional, you will provide educational support to students with special educational needs, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Provide support to students during lessons and assist with their personal care when required.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an SEN setting is highly desirable.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different learning environments.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
