Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Stagecoach Group plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of buses.

Salary and Benefits
The annualised salary for this role starts at £37,710 and can reach up to £49,920 depending on experience. You will also receive an Enhanced Pay Rate of £49,920 once qualified as a HGV/PCV Technician. In addition to your salary, you will benefit from in-house technical training and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles. This will involve diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all vehicles are roadworthy. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to achieve these objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as an HGV/PCV vehicle technician. You should hold a relevant qualification such as C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy motor vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair, or equivalent. A full UK driving licence is also essential.

Desirable Criteria
Prior experience with EV vehicles and possession of a PCV Licence Holder would be advantageous. Additionally, reliable and punctual attendance, as well as enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work, are highly valued qualities in this role.
