Cogent Breeding Ltd is a leading company in the field of genetic breeding, specializing in the development and improvement of livestock breeds. As a Deputy Center Veterinarian, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experts in ensuring the health and well-being of our stud bulls.

The role involves providing veterinary advice and support to our dedicated livestock team, laboratory, and distribution teams, as well as working closely with our skilled support staff and genetics team. You will also be responsible for monitoring and advising on herd health and biosecurity plans, and inspecting and testing prospective sires for our Stud.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our UK Vet team, who has a strong background in livestock practice and can work autonomously to make decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent prioritization skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.

The salary for this position is approximately £55k - £70k per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a matched pension scheme, life assurance, free BUPA healthcare and dental plan, and long service awards.
