About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transmission and Distribution Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits, providing leadership and support to a team of high-performing project specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits, providing strategic direction and guidance to project teams.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of project specialists, providing coaching, mentoring, and supervision to ensure the success of projects.
  • Client Relationships: Foster and evolve client relationships through successful project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Project Development: Develop and deliver project proposals, bids, and tenders, working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise on transmission and distribution projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified electrical engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission, utilities, renewable power, or similar fields.
  • Experience: Strong experience in the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing project teams.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of transmission and distribution projects, including EHV, HV, and LV electrical engineering, testing, commissioning, and equipment failure investigation.
