The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Transmission and Distribution professional to contribute to the success of our growing team. As a leader, you'll provide guidance and support to a team of high-performing project specialists across a range of multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and work within a team of project specialists across multiple projects and pursuits.
  • Develop and lead transmission projects and packages, which will grow in size and complexity as your career develops.
  • Foster and evolve client relationships through successful project delivery.
  • Mentor, supervise, and coordinate junior to mid-level project managers.
  • Experience in Owner Engineer, Independent Certifier, or Lender Technical Advisor roles.
  • Participate in the pursuit, development, and delivery of present and future transmission projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks and industry relationships to meet business and client outcomes.
  • Establish project scope, time, and cost, and coach others in managing competing demands.

Requirements

  • Qualified electrical engineer with significant transmission, utilities, renewable power, or similar fields experience.
  • Strong network and business development acumen.
  • Experience in the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, whether from a consulting, utilities, or contracting environment.
  • Experience in EHV, HV, and LV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design in utilities, renewable power, traction power, water/wastewater, and other industries.
  • Experience in testing, commissioning, FAT witnessing, equipment failure investigation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, providing robust advice and support for design projects through clear communication of project status, issues, and risks.
