About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at UCL, known for its diverse team of staff and world-leading research projects.


As an Environmental Engineering Lecturer/Associate Professor, you will be responsible for developing a rigorous research programme in a field of synergy with existing activities, as well as participating in applications for external income and publishing regularly in high-quality refereed journals.


You will also make a substantial contribution to teaching at both undergraduate and MSc level, with opportunities to attract external funding to support research activity.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in Environmental Engineering or a relevant subject area, with relevant teaching experience in higher education.


You will also possess a significant research profile, evidenced by high-quality refereed publications and a track record in a technical subject area compatible with existing capabilities.


Able to attract external funding and willing to contribute to the academic community, you will be an excellent fit for this dynamic role.
