Trade Sales Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking for a challenging role in sales support? We are seeking a Trade Sales Coordinator to join our team in Coventry. As a Trade Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting sales activities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth internal and external communication.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate sales activity records.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
- Prepare sales reports and presentations that provide insights into performance metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of leads and prospects, efficiently tracking interactions and follow-ups.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support the development of sales strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sales to trade an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and critical approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in sales support in trade supply chain roles is advantageous, but not essential.
