Medical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our sales team as a Nightingale Discharge Support Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of discharge policies that promote the registration of patients to the Nightingale Home Delivery Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and exceeding agreed new consumer registrations
  • Providing support at the point of care for patients being discharged home
  • Training clinical staff on best practices for safe discharge with Nightingale while managing a medical device
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the transition process between secondary and primary care within the NHS
  • Developing a thorough understanding of how a Dispensing Appliance Contractor operates
  • Providing effective weekly updates of company IT requirements, CRM, Calendar, and Monthly AM report to the Regional Business Manager
  • Supporting partnering trusts with the provision, promotion, and implementation of 'hospital to home' discharge products for use in the community provided through our home delivery service
  • Supporting partnering establishments with formulary implementation and product guidance
  • Delivering effective training on supporting 'discharge packs' and the appliances to healthcare professionals
  • Working closely with the regional team to support delivery of key projects across the region
  • Building excellent customer relationships and selling the product and service to NHS and private healthcare customers

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Dynamic and driven with a real interest in developing a career in medical sales
  • Desire to work in a target-driven environment
  • Confident, articulate, and a strong relationship builder
  • Highly self-motivated and tenacious and must be able to deliver sales results in a competitive environment
  • Well-organized and able to plan weekly and monthly diary
  • Ability to operate independently and work within a team
  • Strong mindset and ability to articulate yourself and bring others around to your way of thinking

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Clinical background
  • Experience in customer relations or front-of-house sales
  • Commercial/business acumen
