About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kedleston Group as a Deputy Headteacher, playing a key role in shaping the future of our provision in London.

We are seeking a talented and inspirational leader to join our Senior Leadership Team at Mapesbury School, a fantastic opportunity for someone with drive, enthusiasm, and high aspirations to work in partnership with the Headteacher and other leaders to make a real difference to our school and young people.

The successful candidate will lead by example, inspiring and developing others, building on our many successes and driving forward school improvement. They will have a good track record in aspirational and inspirational teaching and learning, be expert in building strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff, and be able to mentor and coach colleagues to develop their behaviour management and teaching and learning.

Our curriculum is designed to suit the needs and abilities of our pupils, recognising that there may be substantial gaps in their education. We will help our students raise their aspirations, renew their self-belief, and help them achieve their potential, moving on to their next steps in life with confidence.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) who has experience of working within a SEN setting, a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop, and a commitment to making a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.

The successful candidate will be ambitious and engaging, able to help shape and deliver a shared vision for the future, and take an effective lead on behaviour and attendance, ensuring an inclusive environment where no pupil is left behind and all pupils have the support and challenge to be the best they can be.
