Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our ecological consultancy service, you will be responsible for managing projects and clients across various sectors, including housing, retail, employment, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake terrestrial ecology site work and background research
  • Prepare fee proposals and manage field survey data
  • Manage projects, liaise with clients, and interpret data
  • Carry out technical report writing and proofreading
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant professional experience in ecological consultancy or a closely related field
  • A relevant degree and/or postgraduate qualification with a strong academic record
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Phase 1 Habitat surveys and UK Habitat Classification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and policy
  • The ability to produce high-quality written reports and proofread others' work

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
